Tuesday, March 29 2005, 13:54:52 #23585 I wonder what would a speed ticket would be. It was a rural area, so 50 km/h speed limit.
"Sir, you exceeded the speed limit 6 times" |

Tuesday, March 29 2005, 19:04:17 #23600 In the US they cant chase you on a bike over 80 mph. Its considered entrapment and endagering a life.

Tuesday, March 29 2005, 19:47:33 #23605 Any insight into why it is considered entrapment? I see reckless endangerment. Although in florida the state statutes seem to be "Officers are not required nor are they encouraged to participate in highspeed pursuits in excess of 110 mph (that is for automobiles, not too sure what it is for bikes.) At least, this is what my buddy in law enforcement tells me about this.

Tuesday, March 29 2005, 19:57:31 #23607 Monox how many jap bikes have you rode. If there are no lights you thinka car is trying to hit you so you speed up like any normal rider would do. This will cause you to go faster because people in cars dont car about people on bikes. This raises the death risk on motorcycles. More people die from car to bike related accidents then bike operators own fault.

Sunday, October 23 2005, 12:55:36 #29736 Not to mention, it's almost IMPOSSIBLE to catch a bike in any sort of vehicle a cop will be using, even if it's TX cops with Vipers _________________
