Tuesday, November 11 2008, 10:36:17 #41109 Air Compressor Kits? Hey,
I'm looking to get a good air compressor kit for my garage for working on my car. Doesn't need to be huge. The only criteria is I want a non-sealed type (oil serviceable), needs in kit; impact/hoses/fittings and should be under $500. Here's one I found: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00989548000P Can anyone help me here? I don't know much about air tools. Thanks! _________________ psycheus.com tacnit.com Last edited by |DRC| psycheus on 20:36, Tuesday Nov 11 2008; edited 1 time in total |

Tuesday, November 11 2008, 12:51:22 #41116 You have to look at recovery speed, i.e. CFM (cubic feet per minute) at 90 PSI rating. Look up some more from your local Home Depot. The higher the better, because air tools like impacts use A LOT of air. Whatever you do, don't buy on Amazon because they all come like they were hit by a train. I saw people complain that actual iron cast cylinders and wheels were bent, not just small parts.
