Sunday, October 3 2004, 17:50:04 #13598 My sensitivity is 10 in quake, and about 6 in windows, no accel.
Seems higher than alot of other people...but hey...I used to use 30! Another good tip! If you see Wartex get a railgun, and the quad....HAUL ASS IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. _________________ The truth only hurts the weak minded. |

Thursday, November 18 2004, 20:48:02 #17226 great tutorial wartex. some side notes:
what keyboard is that? is it one of the older loud ones? if so what brand/model? i dunno about using different sensitivities .. possibly on diff games. i guess its preference i think sens is dependent on ur mouse refresh rate never use arrow keys, they use 2 keycodes so the mess up sometimes. theres some command to show your speed in some mods, it might be useful |

1. Write that puppy! After you have all your settings and such saved, type /writeconfig mycfg . This creates a mycfg.cfg file in whatever directory you are in. Play with it for a while to get all the binds you want, here is a list of a few you may want. These are f-row, due to the fact that I use WASD and space to jump. bind "f1" "vote yes; arenavote yes" bind "f2" "vote no; arenavote no" These are used when people call votes, like the ones used to change maps or kick me from the server ( =] ). The arenavote commands are if you are playing in a multiarena (which CPMA and RA3 both support, and battle is working on it). bind "f3" "ready" This is used to flag yourself as "Ready" for competition modes with warmup periods. bind "f4" "g_synchronousclients 1; sv_fps 125; record; g_synchronousclients 0" This is used for recording sexy smooth demos. You may have noticed that demo playback from demos recorded in certain mods (cpma for certain) seem choppy, this fixes this. without specifying a demo name, the demos will number themselves, starting with demo0000 and with demo9999. bind "f5" "stoprecord" stops the demo. bind "f6" "+stats" Displays Stats _________________ The Zeros Homepage |
