I did a search for this thread because I thought we had one up, I guess it got wiped out in that whole hoster situation a couple weeks ago.

Anyway, I recently went and saw the movie and had fairly high expectations. I was astounded to find that the movie met and surpassed everything I could've imaginged about a Batman movie.

Me, I'm a sucker for originals. Every sequel I see I try to base it on the original. Now for my money there was (at the time) no better person suited to play Bruce Wayne than Michael Keaton. It was a perfect fit. This new guy however seems to be the real world personification of the character...absolutely screwed up in the head! It's awesome.

The movie really gets back to the dark roots of where the series is supposed to come from. Shadows, dark alleys, blackmail, corruption all key elements play a part here. Not to mention the luscuious Katie Holmes (Mmmmmm).

A true "must see" movie.

Mmmmmm...IMAX. We have one downtown I might just check it out if I get the time.

P.S. I forgot to add that my wife thoroughly enjoyed the movie as well, not exactly a "date" movie but it's always a better experience with another person.

I didn't buy Keaton as Batman, but I bought him as Bruce Wayne. I bought Christian Bale as both Batman and Bruce Wayne. Excellent movie. It'd probably get some major awards if it weren't based on a comic book.

For those of you that liked the movie, I suggest you look into the writing the Frank Miller did on the Batman series; most notably - Batman: Year One not to mention The Dark Knight Returns. Quality.

I first saw christian bale as Patrick Bateman in American Psycho. Wang is 100% correct, he fits the batman charactrer so well. Its kind of funny, you can take much of American psycho and splice it in to the point in the film just after Bruce Returns home, and you get a twisted perspective on who Bruce wayne really was, and how he stays in shape and what his personal life is like. When the movie is released on dvd, im planning on doing that.

Llamas and alpacas have three pairs of deciduous incisors (front teeth) on the bottom and one pair on the top. The incisors on the top are further back in the mouth than the bottom incisors and look more like canine teeth than incisors. This makes up one of the pairs of upper fighting teeth. Full term crias should have all three pairs of lower incisors at the time of birth. The deciduous incisors fall out and are replaced by permanent incisors at certain ages which helps to age the llama by its teeth. The first pair of incisors (the two close together in the middle) will fall out between 2 and 2.5 years old. The second pair (the next two over from the center) will fall out between 2.5 and 3.5 years old. The third pair will fall out anywhere between 3 and 6 years old.

No, but I know the movie you are talking about. that was with David Spader and people who have a fetish for car crashes. No this movie is recent to DVD and starts, Brendan Fraser, Don Cheadle, Matt Dillon, Sandra Bullock, Ryan Phillipe, Ludacris, the girl from MI2 and others. It is Basically a movie about Racism from every spectrum. Look it up on NETFLIX and check it out. Really makes you think. At the end of seeing it, you tell me who you think was the most racist person in the movie.

This is the movie
