[Desperado]

As the title says...Battle mod has taken me in and is not letting me out

Ive become addicted to getting my ass whooped everytime i connect to DRC CPM server

Its so much fun!

I hope to get better through time but at the mo...i enjoy getting whooped

Hope to see you guys regularly from now on as your servers great

Whew thought it was ONLY ME getting a beating... Had some fun the other night - still prefer Rails - however, Battle All Weps is a nice change-up and knowing it can go to Rails - starting to make me a believer that this is the best MOD to date!

Only 1 thing i've found wrong with Battle...the amount of players playing instead of being able 2 join a server and play and always be people on like IU, battle just doesnt have that big a community. Just wish more people would start playing it

This is why we need to make people aware of it. If no one knows about it, no one will connect, so it is up to us to promote it!

Everytime I connect a dm server I always ask if they would like to 1vs1 on our server. Once they have downloaded the mod and maps they will see how kick ass the mod is and come back. The problem is that not everyone wants to wait 30 minutes to download 1 map then play for 15 minutes and wait another 20 - 30 min to download the secord map.

Wartex can we get a map rotation going with just the regular q3 maps for awhile with no customer maps until we get others connecting on a regular basis, then maybe introduce a new map here and there so they will not mind it as much??

If you look at the 3LIT3 server they have people on 24/7 and its mostly because of the map rotation.

No this is because they run baseq3. If people can't download the map, they won't download the mod.

And I find other all weaps mod players like osp for example to be hard headed. The one time I got an osp guy to play me in battle, after a few mins he said this is bs and left.

Your right Slim. In most cases (That I've seen) OSP players tend to stick with OSP and don't want to experiment with other mods. RA3 players tend to be the same.

From what I've seen while specing, I'll have to say that the best players in the game are into OSP and RA3. Too bad they don't have an open mind to other mods.

I like the game - I like it when All Rails is played too... I am learning... all weps... tuff enuff when Elusive just runs around and doesn't let u breathe... I wil lbe here sometime tonight too!! So feel free to kick some OLDie a$$. And BTW once in a while change it to all rails... more people will cross over too!
