Samsung LCD TV from season winter 2008 / spring 2009.
Model from series 7
Full HD 1920 x 1080 Pixel p

I've connected it with a HDMI directly to my computers graphic card.
In my opinion it has an excellent picture and is very easy to use with its remote.

I've watched a HDTV sample and it was outstanding in comparison to a standard computer monitor.

Yes sir. I got rid of my old monitor and use my new baby as one.
I can tell you aslong your machine can handle the resolution with same details it is bad ass.

Well how much did i pay it was 1999 EUR which at the current time are 2,668.05 USD, but i guess you can't compare it that way. It sure was cheap as hell because it was the last exhibit and i managed to get a 7,5m HDMI cable for free which is from Oehlbach it has pure gold connectors and a very good damping which is important to me so i wouldn't loose the quality of the signal, well the cable alone was 200 EUR -> 266.911 USD.

I just sold 2 40"s and a 55" of those Sammy LEDTVs this week, have the install slated for the next week or 2.
