Hey,

I'm getting really irritated right now as I've tried about 50 times trying to connect to our battle server. I've tried changing the mod, reconnecting, connecting directly to the IP address, connecting the the DNS address (drc.zfrag.com), and every fucking time I get this error message:

CL_PARSERVERMESSAGE: READ PAST END OF SERVER MESSAGE

WTF does this mean?? Usually I get this error once, the first time I try to connect to the server, then I can reconnect and get on just fine. But now it keeps just hanging there and gives me the message.

It connects to the server, then it's awaiting game state, it starts loading all players and game modules, then hangs there (and usually it doesn't have any sound, although a couple times it would make about a second of sound then stop and hang), then gives me the above error message.

How many programs are runnig at the same time. I get that when im on skype and try to connect.

Nothing, remember I can't run shit here because it's a POS 533 Celeron. I wish I could run other stuff like Skype while playing. I can even shut down Explorer.exe so nothing is running and it still gives me that error. Any other ideas?

this is the add on to my quake .exe, I connect directly to the server when I use this. obviously its the + connect duh lol

ah, i see the fs_game battle thing. Whats the advantage to having it load up at start like that?

doesn't inherit configs from other mods.
