Push-ups as well as timed 60-meter, 400-meter sprint and 8-km run.

Yeah I already know my BMI. It's something like 18.3 - I'm just slightly underweight. I'm 5'3 and 103lb (around about 47kg or 7.2 stone). I can knock out a fair few push-ups but my stamina sucks. I gotta do some more cardio. I started going to a gym so that should help somewhat.

I've heard that running on concrete shits up your knees when you're older?

One of the side effects from running on concrete or very hard surfaces is shin splints... check these links...

A very painful injury...

When relaxed my BPM is 72 give or take a few. Is that good for a kid of 14? Or more's to the point is that good altogether?

Ya, concrete sucks and asphalt is just a bit better. I run on dirt along a canal by my house when I go for a jog.

Running is boring as hell to me though. I can't stand doing it for more than 30 mins. You've gotta find a sport you like (maybe running does it for you?) When I want some cardio, I play full court basketball for a couple hours. I have fun and the time flies.

Damn Death, I almost double you weight. Laughing

Here is another link that my daughter found on fitness levels...

http://www.man-health-fitness-solutions.com/measuring-fitness-levels.html

Moderation is the key and building up gradually is the healthiest way to get to the level desired.
