Monday, November 27 2006, 17:31:31 #38135 Yeah I already know my BMI. It's something like 18.3 - I'm just slightly underweight. I'm 5'3 and 103lb (around about 47kg or 7.2 stone). I can knock out a fair few push-ups but my stamina sucks. I gotta do some more cardio. I started going to a gym so that should help somewhat.

Monday, November 27 2006, 18:14:29 #38138 One of the side effects from running on concrete or very hard surfaces is shin splints... check these links...

Monday, November 27 2006, 19:19:06 #38145 Ya, concrete sucks and asphalt is just a bit better. I run on dirt along a canal by my house when I go for a jog.
Running is boring as hell to me though. I can't stand doing it for more than 30 mins. You've gotta find a sport you like (maybe running does it for you?) When I want some cardio, I play full court basketball for a couple hours. I have fun and the time flies. Damn Death, I almost double you weight. |

http://www.man-health-fitness-solutions.com/measuring-fitness-levels.html Moderation is the key and building up gradually is the healthiest way to get to the level desired. |
