Hey Guys,

I'm cleaning out my old stuff and have this laptop that still works. All you need is a new power supply (I'll give you the old one, but you probably won't be able to fix it).

You pay for shipping and it's yours!

I don't know like 4 gigs. It's old dude. I don't want to give just the HD away. If you want anything off it you take the whole thing.

Lol man you are funny. "I have this old fridge, you can take it, just pay the shipping. What? Nobody wants it? How come?"

I hope you see what I'm trying to say.

Well first off this isn't that big or heavy. I was trying to offer it up for someone that actually wants or needs the whole computer not just pieces first before I disassemble it and part it out. Then if there are not hits by next week you can have the HD or whatever else you want, Okay?

Man I know you have the best intentions and I'm not trying to sound like a dick, what I was trying to explain is that P2 will hardly pull any modern OS unless you have a gig of ram in it. Think of it this way:

New battery - $50 + 10 shipping off ebay, new power supply $25 (used pc parts store), laptop shipping is around $24 to canada. Plus you need Ram for it etc. I can buy a used P3-1000 for around $120 on ebay, which is nearly 4 times faster than p2-400 for example.

So despite being a very sweet deal, it requires time and a lot of money to get it working.

I have a better suggestion, install a lightweight version of linux on it and use it as an RSS reader, have the news and weather updates etc.

I get your point. So do you want that HD? I'll just recycle the rest of the computer.

I can understand this with old desktops, but you know time is flying when nobody needs a laptop. Laughing

I myself have an old dell laptop much newer than this, but I am just too greedy. :gollum emotion:

My GF could use that to browse the web and do e-mail.

I know it has been a month, but is it still available?

Actually yes. Remember you pay for shipping and you will still need a new battery/power supply or just a power supply if you don't care if it's portable. What zip code do you live in?

In the UK it doesn't matter where you send it, it's the same price to send from one end to the other (on weight). Same in USA?
