Saturday, December 9 2006, 22:18:27 #38439 I also just got the OBX Oil pan. Not bad for the price though. I paid $180 for mine compaired to almost $400 for the moroso pan. I did however have fitment problems with the oil pickup. It was close. But..
- The angle bend was just a bit off - Came with wrong flange - Flange was too big (had to modify) - Flange holes where to small (had to modify) - Didn't come with gasket for pick-up - Besides all of the above new pick-up had sloppy construction / welds

Saturday, December 30 2006, 16:04:56 #38788 Nope it was just the holes on the pan.. It was sooo close but I had to drill out the holes to make the pan fit correctly. Also the pick up wasn't all that much better then the OBX crap. I still had to drill out those holes also. I'm disappointed and now stuck with an extra crap pan. Anyone want a OBX oil pan?? It's now for sale! I'll let it go cheaper then you can buy it.

Wednesday, May 14 2008, 01:39:07 #40935 //::More updates:://
It's been a while since I've added to my build so I thought I would update everyone.. Can now has 192k original motor/trans. Full race suspension with Comptech Integra rear sway bar, skunk2 rear lca's, omni full coil overs, slipstream 16" rims with Falken tires. Greddy turbo kit, HKS SSQ BOV, stock internals running 5 psi of boost making around 160 whp. New motor just got is a fully built darton sleeved motor. Aris pistons, crawer rods and vavle springs and a zex cam. Should be making 250 whp with no effort running my current turbo up at around 11-12 psi. Also getting a close-gear ratio setup on my transmission with a LSD.

Saturday, August 2 2008, 22:46:48 #41042 Psy, do you know if in Toyota Camry 94 air intake is the same pipe that gets air inside the cabin? My engine space gets so hot in summertime that I get freaking hot air blowing thru my vents even though outside air is cool.

Saturday, May 2 2009, 18:03:08 #41665 Update
Motor swap complete. While the engine was out I sprayed the turbo and engine compartment so they are nice and shinny.
I'm going to get my car tuned next week. should be making at least 215 whp on 6-7 psi. I'm also waiting on my transmission. I've gone through so many problems with it and after putting it in and taking it out about 6 times now it should be good. specs: D16z6 Transmission S20 B000 Ex/Si (S20 A000 is for the smaller bearing Cx/Vx/Dx/Lx transmissions) Quafe LSD 1st = 3.083 (Custom MFactory) 2nd = 1.9 (stock) 3rd = 1.25 (stock) 4th = 0.909 (stock) 5th = 0.75 (stock) FD = 4.7 (Custom MFactory) Click HERE to see my gears compared to my stock Ex gear ratio. This setup should be a good compromise to a full racing setup where you would be taching out at about 4000 RPM in 5th gear doing 65 MPH. |

Saturday, May 2 2009, 18:09:48 #41666 My next project will be a turbo upgrade. I've been looking into the Garrett Disco Potatoes, GT-28RS, GT-25RS or T3 Super 60. My goal is still 250 WHP. The motor I have can handle 30+PSI. But with these turbos I should only need to boost around 12-14 PSI. Marble do you still have your 240? I'm sure you know about these.
