They are less than 2 years old, and they have a 5 year warranty. I can't sell them for $175 and pay $20 in shipping, then I make $155. Don't forget there is a 8% sales tax on them in CA.

Oh that's what I thought, but don't really know that whole deal. I do remember doing my taxes this year there was a section for stuff bought outside of California that you wheren't taxed on.. LOL Fuck them I'm not telling them shit, I bought it outside of CA because I didn't want to pay taxes .

I don't buy them in 1000+ quantities from the manufacturer, and I don't get OEM pricing, and I don't offer rebates that have to be mailed and never come back. I also said I will pay shipping where newegg won't. You can return the drives back to me if you don't want them, where newegg will tell you to shove them. I can find websites where you can find this drive for $75, it doesn't mean anything. Go to Wal-Mart and see if they sell you cheaper because you found some e-tailer that sells for less. Ha ha.

PS: I traded them and Slowhands dual p3 mobo for an IBM NetVista P4 2.26 GHz computer.

Buy 2 2500KS and put them in RAID 0. They are actually faster.

PS: If your system has no PCI Express, RAID won't do anything for you. You will be bound to 100 MB/s transfer because of PCI bandwidth.
