[HAL9000]

Has anyone had problems running java applets with service pack 2? Sun Microsystems says java is only for sp1...

You might wanna check your browser settings and make sure Java is enabled.....that could help.....maybe

I think there is a reason that they deleted the download from the update site, it's still really messed up

Go
start menu -> settings -> control panal -> add or remove programs
scroll down till you see service pack 2, do a uninstall

I sure as hell downloaded it and now shit won't work. and I have that annoying little red shield in the system tray that constantly tells me that I don't have antivirus running and my firewall isn't on and my socks don't match blah blah blah. Maybe I need to check there again... I could just be blind and need

stay away from sp2 for xp--its aweful and not finished--its still beta... wait for the fastfix sp2 updates...i installed sp2 when it first came out and it deleted and disabled bot of my CD-rom drives---couldnt resintall and couldnt be recognized.. had to roll it back 2 days..after hours of instalations--sucked
