here is a nice little trailer i put together for a trickjumping movie ive been working on, this movie will feature tricks from [mad]smile, [mad]aluarD, and myself:D pls comments would be great, this is also my first attempt at making a q3 vid:D(vegas video rocks!!!)

tx m8's , the final will probably be finished in a couple months, i have ran out of hd space, so until i get another one im kinda at a stand still on it atm, still can do editing on what i have but there are about 15 more demos i need to convert to avi with no space for them so we'll see how it goes hopefully ill have a new hd in a week or 2 so ye id say a couple months, ill definatly post u guys a link when im done

ahah yess, i have figured out my hd space prob. got those avi's compressed down from about 500mb-1gig a pieace to about 100mb-200mb, now i have 13 gig free to work on the vid and plenty of space to finish it, and also i figured out how to get perfect quality.

Yo, those screens look fucking amazing. Keep it up man, cant wait to see the final cut. That's the kind of quality that I'd like to get for our movie, so any help you can give i.e. tips or advice would really help a rookie out.

hehe tx guys, ye man ill hook u up with the goods:D or at least how to aquire them:D im using "virtual dub" for converting my tga's to avi(toss that bmp2avi pos, lol) to get that smooth look and good quality i do cl_avidemo 100 instead of 30, 100 gives u that many more frames per/sec giving u smooth flow, near true game speed as well, what im using for the camera angles is defrag mod(also the best trickjumping mod there is), there are so many diff types of cams u can use, up to 8 diff save cam pos that u place in saved pos. in a map then u open ur demo and u can transtition between them(there is alot more involved in doin this, btw) as well as missle fallowing, then for all the editing im using "vegas video 5" and i for final compression im using the latest xvid codec( i ran into probs with divx) this is really a short summary of the process, add me jb618@hotmail.com to ur msn and ill pt. u in the right direction:D

*latest on progress, now that i have realized that using cl_avidemo 100 results in seemless playback and quality(with the right codec of course)i now have to go back and redo 24demos , a minor set back but soo worth all the extra work as u can see in the screenshots

also me and naru have started working on the long awaited team [mAd]frag movie, he will be editing and i will do the camming and .cfg setup, should be interesting to see what he can do since he uses adobe premier and im using vegas

howdy m8's, im in the process of writing up a full tutorial for everything start to finish, with a few effect tutorials as well along with a defrag cam tutorial, should be done with it by the end of the weekend.
