Ok, here's my problem. I'm trying to get a defrag server up and running and what i've done is taken the orginal config file from the server that wartex helped me put up and put it to work on the defrag server. Of course I made some changes to it. What I cannot figure out is where I should put the "sv_cheats 1" I tried placing it in a few different areas of the config file but mostly I figured it should be towards the beginning of the config with the rest of the "sv" commands...

it's really pissing me off...i got a defrag server and no weapons.

sv_cheats is not a variable, it's a constant to indicate whether cheats are enabled or not. do /devmap <map> , like arclite said.

xxxx meaning what? And where should I put it in the config as far as writing it into it from Wartex's original cfg script from instaunlagged?

put the config in the defrag folder it should already be there anyways, just add the rcon feature and commands to it, and in the server if u want cheats go to the console and type /rcon devmap (mapname) and when u go into the game the cheats will work if u type them in like /god... /give ammo... /give invisibility... /give speed


i think so anyways.. someone correct me if i'm wrong

Ok, i see...the only reason I asked is because you gave miss leading information.

I.E. /rconpassword (xxxx)
/rcon (command)

Wang. Just the the rconpassword once, using \rconpassword <password>

and then simply type commands like \rcon map q3dm17, without inserting the password all the time
