Tuesday, January 23 2007, 00:22:07 #39203 New CPU I am looking to buy the intel dual core 2 extreme quad-core proc. I want to know if my motherboard will run it. Its the same set lga775 but I dont know if the MB will run it..does anyone know before i spend 1000 dollars.. thanks

Wednesday, January 24 2007, 18:24:28 #39218 It won't work because Core type CPU is p-5 class CPU, and your mobo is p4 and FSB is only 800 MHz, and Core is 1066, and your bios doesn't support new CPUs.
