Friday, November 12 2004, 21:40:37 #16642 Nvidia Quadro 580 XGL Anybody know this graphics board? I was given it by some guy I know
from work. Framerate in Quake is extremely better, I have the option to connect 2 monitors... AND my lightning gun is drawn where my mouse pointer is for the first time in my life. I haven't been able to find out much about this piece of hardware. All I know is that it's got 64 MB DDR Ram. Any ideas? |

Price ranges from $270 to $1400 depends on features I think it's an analog of Fx 5600 As fo the lightning gun, it's controlled by cg_truelightning, not by your vid card _________________

Could it be that the problems I used to have with the lightning gun were caused by some other kind of lag? I didn't change ANY settings prior or after switching to this new vidcard...? |
