Friday, September 16 2011, 22:35:49 #43765 Amazing how fast PC components get out dated. When I bought my GeForce 7800 GTX it was the fastest thing on the market, and now it is ranked 227 out of 499 samples after only a few years. I'm glad that I no longer waste money on upgrading |

Friday, September 16 2011, 23:19:37 #43766 Iceman the secret is to buy 2nd or 3rd last model, and several years later when it's outdated and dirt cheap, get the 2nd one and put it in SLI with the 1st one. Noakes is sitting on 2x GTX 8800 in SLI which is just as old as yours and he can play very demanding Bad Company 2 (which is "okay" on my 2010 GTX260). I can buy 2nd GTX260 now for like $80 and get performance of a $400 card.
