I think they've gone OTT with this film. The first one was good, second was average and I bet the third one is going to be crap.

They did the same with the MI films except it didn't kinda go in that order. For me it went:

Mission Impossible: Good
Mission Impossible 2: Crap
Mission Impossible 3: Better than the other 2.

I dont know about your theory:

Spider-man 1:good
Spider-man 2:Real good
Spider-man 3: looks amazing

but I agree.. oceans 12 was OK..it had some decent scenes.. hopefully 13 or 3 will be better

Well for me the MI series went in that order. I gotta admit if you get a trilogy of films, the first tends to be the best. Before I get quoted, LOTR is a notable exception.

Spiderman 1 was good
Spiderman 2 was ok
I haven't really paid much attention for Spiderman 3, I'll wait for your verdict Messiah .

Ya I still believe MI3 was better than the other 2. MI2 just had a crap storyline which I couldn't make head or tail of until I watched the film about 50 times. The same with Silence of the Lambs, I had to watch the film about 3 times before I worked it all out . That was really good tho.

Matrix 1... great
matrix 2.. Thought was great as far as action but 1 was better
Matrix 3. garbage

So i dont disagree with you.. but i did think spider man 2 was better than 1

You cant count LOTR as a sequel cause it was ONE LONG story..the third was great.. but you have to watch all 12 hours of the re-cut to enjoy the quality of Tolken's true vision!
