Tuesday, May 5 2009, 14:38:47 #41746 What type of sterieo system do you have? I have 3 10" MTX's in my civic and 1 12" Square kicker in my Dodge Charger. I'm kinda over the super loud bass though and just got 1 bad ass 10" JL W6. I still need to build a box for my truck.

Tuesday, May 5 2009, 15:39:42 #41748 Kenwood head unit
Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.5" in the front doors Kenwood 6.5" in the back decks two 12" CrossFire subs being fed by a rockford fosgate amp, 1.5 farad cap installed. Everything on my EQ is nuetral and sub is set to -6 on the headunit, still sets off alarms. _________________ The truth only hurts the weak minded. |

Tuesday, May 5 2009, 16:05:46 #41749 LOL those are the days driving around parking lots and the best would be underground parking at the mall setting off alarms |

Wednesday, May 6 2009, 10:52:20 #41753 Damn dude! LOL Do you need 3 10" MTX's 7000's? I'm actually in need of a decent amp. I have a 400 watt Kenwood. What would you recommend for a 10" W6 JL Sub?

I also have an Eclipse CD/MP3 single din head unit as well. |

Monday, May 18 2009, 04:55:22 #41871 This isn't really a good pic of my car, but it's in it. I was fucking with the exposure and using long shutter speeds to try and get those car light trails on the road behind that wall. I'd like to photograph a busy city this way.

Wednesday, May 20 2009, 09:42:39 #41888 If Obama gets the new fuel consumption restrictions passed, in 7 years it won't be legal for me to drive a car big enough for me to fit in lol
either that, or it will be big enough, but the 0-60 with my weight + gear in it won't be enough to get me on a freeway on-ramp. I saw one of those Smart cars in my grocery store parking lot yesterday, it looks like you could roll it over sideways by leaning on it |

Here they have cameras up your ass that can tell if the car is registered, insured and has a licensed owner. If you haven't got 3/3, you're fucked. On a happier note, I'm starting next week. |

Wednesday, May 20 2009, 21:14:25 #41896 Good luck, Death. If you can make it those first few years without having any major accidents or citations you're pretty much safe from then on out. I've actually never been pulled over, after driving for 10 years, and I intend to keep it that way. I just treat driving as if it were one of my racing games.
...That didn't come out right. I mean that if you give it all your focus and attention you can usually avoid any accident. |

Thursday, May 21 2009, 09:13:56 #41899 It's just unfortunate here for the people who want to just get from A to B like me. As it is, 80% of my generation are what we call "petrol heads" and just fly round main roads at 80mph, smash their shit up and get caught speeding etc and now insurance for young drivers is sky-high, if you can find any at all.
I'd be quite content just getting where I want to go. That doesn't mean to say I wouldn't put my foot down a bit if there's no cameras about On a side note, Wartex/Iceman what's the insurance like for young drivers in Canada? expensive? |

Thursday, May 21 2009, 11:05:25 #41900 I hate new cars. Pain to upgrade "ask Fuggi he will tell you." The smart cars are actually pretty safe compared to other cars.

I started at 85 GBP a month and now it's 55 a month (3 years later), but this is "liability only". If I smash my car I'm fucked, however I can now get full insurance for 80 GBP. _________________

Tuesday, May 26 2009, 06:21:58 #41967 lol. Do you call that cheap or expensive in Canada?
To give you some idea, it's more than 3x that in the UK in most cases. |

Friday, June 5 2009, 15:30:58 #42080 I think I pay around $130/mo (USD) for my Honda and my new Charger. Honda has liability only and Charger has to have full because it's on a loan.

Wednesday, October 28 2009, 18:53:24 #42646 Here are a couple of pics of my new toy. It's a 2008 Suzuki SX4 JLX AWD that pretty much has everything except leather seats and a sunroof. I've had this car now for just over a month, and I have to say its a great little car and very fun to drive! Can't wait for the snow to hit! Off the top of my head, some accessories it has are:
Ability to change from iAWD to 2WD on the fly with the flick of a switch A/C Climate Control 6 Disc in dash CD Changer (anti-theft) Upgraded Stereo system Heated Mirrors (Has option for heated seats but mine doesn't have them) Roof Racks Fog Lights 60/40 split seats Front/Side/Seat (driver and passenger) airbags that hopefully I never see Wheel locks XM Radio capable (not currently set up) Keyless proxy start (Never need to actually put the key in the car. A sensor in the seat picks up your weight and recognizes that you have the key with you. If you don't have the key the car won't start.) Keyless entry (press a button the handle twice and all doors unlock if you have the key on you) Great visibility (one exception) Have to pick up my wife in 10 minutes.......I'm sure there is more if I think about it The only con that I don't like about the car is that there is a 'larger than normal' blind spot on the front drivers side when making left turns. It takes awhile to get used to it, but I have to admit it does have a slight annoying factor to it. Other than that one thing I absolutley love this car, and it has more than everything my wife and I need!
