What type of sterieo system do you have? I have 3 10" MTX's in my civic and 1 12" Square kicker in my Dodge Charger. I'm kinda over the super loud bass though and just got 1 bad ass 10" JL W6. I still need to build a box for my truck.

Kenwood head unit

Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.5" in the front doors

Kenwood 6.5" in the back decks

two 12" CrossFire subs being fed by a rockford fosgate amp, 1.5 farad cap installed.

Everything on my EQ is nuetral and sub is set to -6 on the headunit, still sets off alarms.

LOL those are the days driving around parking lots and the best would be underground parking at the mall setting off alarms Very happy. I'm getting too old for that stuff now.

I have that I change like underwear:

2 12W0-4 in a sealed box (4-sale)

6 12W0-4 in a sealed box (4-sale)

2 15" Kicker Solo-Baric D-Series in a sealed box

2 15" Kicker XPL unmounted (4-sale)

8 13W1v2 in my PA basshorns

2 Rockford 8" old school Punch basic in a bandpass enclosure (4-sale)

6 6.5" Rockford Punch HX2 mini subs

1 8" JBL GTO, first woofer I ever bought

Next I plan on either 3 12w7s, 4 10w7s or 4 15" Kicker Solo-Classics.

Amps,

Have a 500/1 on the subs, ZR360 on the highs.

Have an old school XS100 in transit. Looking at a ZR 460 and ZR1000. The 460 for highs and the 360 for the 4 6./5" Fosgate subs, either XS100 or ZR1000 depending on what sounds better.

Damn dude! LOL Do you need 3 10" MTX's 7000's? I'm actually in need of a decent amp. I have a 400 watt Kenwood. What would you recommend for a 10" W6 JL Sub?

Sick, the old 7ks were nice... I'd be partial to a JL 500/1 for your W6... Just so happens mine is for sale cause the XS100 is due next Wednesday...

I also have an Eclipse CD/MP3 single din head unit as well.

This isn't really a good pic of my car, but it's in it. I was fucking with the exposure and using long shutter speeds to try and get those car light trails on the road behind that wall. I'd like to photograph a busy city this way.

If Obama gets the new fuel consumption restrictions passed, in 7 years it won't be legal for me to drive a car big enough for me to fit in lol
either that, or it will be big enough, but the 0-60 with my weight + gear in it won't be enough to get me on a freeway on-ramp. I saw one of those Smart cars in my grocery store parking lot yesterday, it looks like you could roll it over sideways by leaning on it Sad

You don't live in UK. Here they have cameras up your ass that can tell if the car is registered, insured and has a licensed owner. If you haven't got 3/3, you're fucked.

On a happier note, I'm starting next week.

Good luck, Death. If you can make it those first few years without having any major accidents or citations you're pretty much safe from then on out. I've actually never been pulled over, after driving for 10 years, and I intend to keep it that way. I just treat driving as if it were one of my racing games.

...That didn't come out right. I mean that if you give it all your focus and attention you can usually avoid any accident.

It's just unfortunate here for the people who want to just get from A to B like me. As it is, 80% of my generation are what we call "petrol heads" and just fly round main roads at 80mph, smash their shit up and get caught speeding etc and now insurance for young drivers is sky-high, if you can find any at all.

I'd be quite content just getting where I want to go. That doesn't mean to say I wouldn't put my foot down a bit if there's no cameras about Very happy, but certainly not in places where it's risking other people's lives.

On a side note, Wartex/Iceman what's the insurance like for young drivers in Canada? expensive?

I hate new cars. Pain to upgrade "ask Fuggi he will tell you." The smart cars are actually pretty safe compared to other cars.

I started at 85 GBP a month and now it's 55 a month (3 years later), but this is "liability only". If I smash my car I'm fucked, however I can now get full insurance for 80 GBP.

lol. Do you call that cheap or expensive in Canada?

To give you some idea, it's more than 3x that in the UK in most cases.

I think I pay around $130/mo (USD) for my Honda and my new Charger. Honda has liability only and Charger has to have full because it's on a loan.

Did some work on the car, installed the JL 6.5 C5s in the front doors, pair of 10w3v3, C2 6x9 in the rear panels, Kicker XS100, ZR360 and ZR120. Pics this week once I get it cleaned up a bit, there are wires everywhere atm.

Here are a couple of pics of my new toy. It's a 2008 Suzuki SX4 JLX AWD that pretty much has everything except leather seats and a sunroof. I've had this car now for just over a month, and I have to say its a great little car and very fun to drive! Can't wait for the snow to hit! Very happy

Off the top of my head, some accessories it has are:

    ESP (Electronic Stability Program)
Ability to change from iAWD to 2WD on the fly with the flick of a switch
    A/C
    Climate Control
6 Disc in dash CD Changer (anti-theft)
    Upgraded Stereo system
Heated Mirrors (Has option for heated seats but mine doesn't have them)
    Roof Racks
    Fog Lights
    60/40 split seats
Front/Side/Seat (driver and passenger) airbags that hopefully I never see
    Wheel locks
XM Radio capable (not currently set up)
Keyless proxy start (Never need to actually put the key in the car. A sensor in the seat picks up your weight and recognizes that you have the key with you. If you don't have the key the car won't start.)
Keyless entry (press a button the handle twice and all doors unlock if you have the key on you)
    Great visibility (one exception)

Have to pick up my wife in 10 minutes.......I'm sure there is more if I think about it Very happy

The only con that I don't like about the car is that there is a 'larger than normal' blind spot on the front drivers side when making left turns. It takes awhile to get used to it, but I have to admit it does have a slight annoying factor to it. Other than that one thing I absolutley love this car, and it has more than everything my wife and I need! Smile
