In the past uhhh 8months maybe, I've been through 3 PSUs (power supplies) No way in hell all three have just failed for no reason. What I'm thinking is my little machine is generating more heat than my case is designed to handle at once, which is forcing my PSU's fan to overwork itself constantly, which is killing the fan alot faster than it should be....

This is only a theory, but I know only have one exhaust fan can't be doing my machine very good.

Also, I know it's not that I need a stronger PSU..cause....this last one was the strongest I've had yet..and errrr...yeah.

(I'm in the process of trying to procure another case with more exhaust fans ~_~)
Opinions?

Try Enermax Syn.....I have the 420 Watt PSU and the fan keeps turning for 2 min. (I believe) after the system is shut down which is a good pre-caution.

Also, check your fans and make sure they are throwing air the right way. You might have one flipped around and will cause you problems, because its easy enough to do.

Are you losing the FANS or the power supply itself??

Ordinarily, fans rotate at a constant speed... your little fans is not 'working overtime'. It may not, however, be cooling the computer sufficiently. Simply leave the case off... I have used my 'puter with the sides of the case off for over a year. No heat problem here!

If the power supply itself is failing, I suspect other issue(s)... power line surges, an intermittent short in one of the components, ???

Fans fail often. Buy some not-cheap ones and keep them on hand. 80mm, I believe.
