I was just curious since all of you have been playing battle alot longer than i have. Have any of you experienced this problem. I was playing on dod battle server on pure mode. My screen did this i had to use the console command /vid_restart to fix this.

How long has it been since you used a compressed air source to blow out the inside of your computer... specifically the CPU fan, video card fan, and case fan(s)?? I have found that a heat build up (usually caused by dust on cards/fans) will cause the vid card to have a temp hernia.

You can also 'reset' the video by using Q3 Setup/Display/Brightness. Change setting... apply new setting... put 'slider' back where it was... apply.

Give your computer a blow job at least once every month or so. Good PM!!

It's not hardware... If it was VRAM or GPU all textures would be like that. As you can see, only map became black and not the entities. I think it's either battle+driver, or punkbuster+driver.
