I'm definitely in, with a condition you will play UT2004 with me. In the last couple of days I was on IU 1.1 servers, raping like in good old times. A bit rusty and reload was 800 ms and not 600. Played some lagged freeze as well, was fun.

Most 1v1 servers are empty tho.

Marble thanks a lot man! A little tweaking and I'm back in the game.
If you wanna bring the console down it's CTRL+ALT+~
then type "com_allowconsole 1" and it will work with only "~" in the future.

A lot of q3 cvars are negative now, like r_mode 4 (which is 800x600 reso) is r_mode -1 now and so on.

They added new maps and models and Keel has a bright green skin like in cpma/xbattle. It also looks like they removed the 50ms lag that was built in baseq3, pings dropped dramatically. Servers are also sorted by skill so you can't connect to noobish servers (we'll find a way, we'll find a way), you only see equal skill servers.

the real question is, do you want to join just to get a QL invite or do you really wont to be in DRC. If you don't really care then you won't stay long.

i'm mostly playing. don't get me wrong, i'd love to get back in and frag with the family, but i just don't have the time to earn the tag.

i'll keep my eyes open for any action though! i've tried finding a crowd .. anywhere really .. with no luck. any tips on where to encounter a lively rail match i'd appreciate.

Hey guys. It's been a while.

I've had this urge lately to pick up a railgun, so I thought I'd stop by. Is this quake live any good? I think I read it doesn't have mods. Is that right? I'm really interested in playing a little instaunlagged.

QL is basically q3 with CPMA netcode (but not CPMA physics). Has a bit of delag in it, and it does have instagib which I play a lot.

When you register a name there, don't add "drc" in username, they created a separate variable for that (/clan "DRC")

I was very busy in school, then I graduated, then I wasn't in school, now I'm back in school. I really don't have a good reason for not being around though.
