Shawshank seems to be popular.

Shawshank was my number 1 for a long long time. I just loved American beauty a little more than Shawshank.. (Steven King is a genius).

As it stands now I don't think that list will change for a while.

I've always had difficulty putting movies in order that I have liked more then another. Shawshank would be right there at the top though. I also really liked Braveheart, Scarface (who doesn't! heh), Star Wars Series, Lord of The Rings series, 300 (how could you guys forget about 300!? ), Terminator 2 (was really ahead of its time)...........then there was The 6th Sense which I really liked...........Just way to many to list in order ............again, Beowulf sucks though! ....I rate it the second worst movie that I have ever seen in my entire life right after "The Gyver" which was a B movie

i have to update my list too. i would probably add 300 but havent seen anything else I thought was so great.. thinks would just sift down after goonies!

My two cents on your list Ice:

Scarface is great, everyone loves that . Shawshank also ranks high I love that film. Never liked Star Wars/LOTR. 300 not seen. Terminator 2 was best of all Terminators. Never seen the others.

Actually looking again I'd probably switch #4 and 5 on my list.

Only just realised all of mine apart from #10 are on IMDb Top 250 list. I must have good taste! Lol 2 & 3 have got positions 1 & 2!

Watched Shawshank again yesterday, was on TV. It was so satisfying when Hadley beat the shit out of Boggs.

When the fat guy first walked into the cell and said "Oh my god!" or something like that I thought Andy had hung himself... but when the truth came out I was like Warden!

SPOILER TO PPL WHO HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE:



Mess I found a glitch for you. When the Warden shoots himself he shoots himself he points the gun dead centre on his neck. Yet when Red is narrating the bullet hole is shown slightly to (the warden's) right.
