I have a good dvd burner in my desktop now and anything that I'd need to back up I can just transfer over here. Actually I could downgrade that to a plain DVD rom and be fine, and save a few dollars. The HD is most likely some sort of generic. Again the site doesn't say. It has an upgrade option to a Raptor for like $70. Everything else looks great. I don't think I can build a system equal to this for any less money. I haven't crunched all the numbers down but the under $2k price tag seems pretty good for this setup. Now I just have to convince the boss that I actuallly need another computer.... hum... thats a whole other issue. |
