NuLook Wax - in an orange plastic bottle - Best wax made, been using it for years. Find it at most auto stores plus K-Marts, or Walmart - I think it is great and lasts for about 6 or more months! Hug

Be very careful with new car finishes - read your manual about waxing sometimes it tells you to wait for 3-4 months prior to waxing.

I like McGuires (not sure if it's spelled right) it's a very popular brand and they have a no "wax on, wax off" formula. Very convenient.

I prefer 3M or ardex. 3M is the shit. Compunds, orbital waxes, or tough grit compounds to cut shitty paint.

Do not high speed buff your car yet. Let it get a winter or rain season over with.

Dish soap is abrasive and will leave swirls. Also if you wash the car and when drying your shammy or soft cloth (do NOT use a towel) comes away dirty, wash the car again. If you would continue drying it you'd be rubbing in the dirt, which is basically like rubbing little rocks into the paint.

Get the rubber shammy, not the lamb skin. Lamp skin holds dirt and scratches. They are like blue and red and work awesome. Autozone has them and so does walmart. They come in clear plastic tubes and are like 10 bucks and so worth it. Ill take a pic of mine later.

Check this out http://www.detailcity.com/ - some people there are crazy about cars detailing, just use common sense when reading and you will learn everything about it.

I use this product http://www.topoftheline.com/klasalseal.html
