Does any of you guys use this by chance. I know it shows what games yours friends are in and the server ip.

Thought I would raise the dead with this post! lol

I downloaded and re-installed XFire. Yes it no doubt has spyware in it, but it works great, and saves you from searching for people with other browsers such as All Seeing Eye or GameSpy.

The think I like about it, is that it shows how much you've been playing as well heh

I had this years ago, didn't particularly like it so I uninstalled it. I'll download it again if it's within popular demand.

Yeah I used to have it a long time ago as well, but un-installed it. Kind of wish I would have kept it though..........I wonder how many hours I would have racked up in Quake over the past 4 years! lol

I checked out xfire and I like it a lot. It allows you to search for servers without having the game loaded. Plus I get to see how much Iceman plays quake (J/k I play more lol). The more people with it the better! So download and sign up

Yeah I haven't been playing as much as I used to. Its a great thing to have though and makes it easy to drop in and have a quick game with friends because you automatically know what server they are on. Its a simple "right click" on their name and "Join Game" then your on the same server as them

Makes it easier to keep my eye on cornbread! LOL J/K bro!
